The most versatile product we carry is our Reclaimed Oak. We salvage most of this product from family barns built between 1830 and 1900 in the Ohio/Pennsylvania/Virginia region of our country. Reclaimed Oak is an exceptional green building material, as every component of these barns is salvaged, cleaned up and recycled in our line of Reclaimed Oak. The Woodshop of Texas offers antique oak flooring, hand hewn beams, stairs, and vintage trusses.
Oak is already a very hard wood, but curing for 150 years in very cold Pennsylvania winters and hot summers make this product virtually petrified. Reclaimed Oak has the versatility to be used straight out of the barn or milled to a clean finish, and the material can be used anywhere in your project.
